Production Planner / Uxbridge / £32,000 - £38,000 / Mon - Thur (4 Day Week)Are you an experienced Production Planner? You could be progressing your career at a world class manufacturing company heavily involved in aerospace and defense sectors.Based in a new fast paced, growing Planning Department, you will the opportune it in a small knitted team to work on exciting new products and lines on a daily basis! Every day brings its own unique challenges, we are looking for an idealistic individual who will thrive in social environment, working with every department of the company.Location / Hours:You'll be based close to Uxbridge, Middlesex.4 days a week - Mon to Thurs 7am - 5pm (37.5 hours a week)Position SummaryThe Planner will report to the Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning Manager & have a collaborative approach working closely across the business with key process partners. This role is important to ensure the integrity of our MRP system, and thus make realistic and achievable plans. This ensures production has the required flow of materials to fulfil sales orders on time and in full to our customers.Planner Duties/Requirements:

  • Ensure the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is accurate and up to date and resolve issues through MRP message management using IFS software
  • MUST HAVE experience with ERP software (IFS desirable)
  • University Degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering desirable
  • Manage stock levels, assessing and monitoring the volume requirements against planning assumptions and agreed targets
  • Maintenance of shop order and customer order due dates to ensure ERP system integrity
  • CPIM/ CSCP/ CPSM/ CIPS certified or other business-related qualification desirable
  • Trained in or exposed to Lean / Six Sigma tools is desirable - 5 whys, Route Cause Corrective Action, Pareto principal

Salary & benefits:As a Planner, you will earn a competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 plus benefits including:
