We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. Duties:- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with procedures- Monitor and record patient information, such as symptoms, medications, and vital signs- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment- Provide basic life support in emergency situations- Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coding
Experience:- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist with patient care- Familiarity with X-ray procedures and equipment is a plus- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of a healthcare assistant training program is preferred but not required- Basic life support certification is a plus- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
