Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students, assisting them with classwork and assignments.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered.
- Assist with classroom management, helping to maintain discipline and encourage positive behaviour.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities.
- Help to assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a educational setting is essential.
- A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting students' diverse needs.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are desirable but not essential.
