The Client
Our client has one of the world’s largest ranges of Plate Heat Exchangers (PHEs) for a variety of applications. The PHEs are built on a module-based concept and are designed to provide maximum efficiency in transferring heat from one liquid to another, or from steam to liquid. As part of their continuing growth, my client is recruiting an Assembly Worker to be based in Wakefield.
The Role
Our client are currently recruiting for an individual who has previous experience working on a mechanical assembly line or as a Fitter.
The suitable applicant must be capable of working within imperial and metric, capable of interpreting engineering drawings. Duties will include working with power and hand tool, marking out, drilling and tapping. The ability to weld and operate machine tools would also be an advantage.
Requirements
- Full UK Drivers Licence (clean)
- Flexible approach and able to work overtime along with weekends and some occasional working away
- Have previous experience within a similar role
- Welding experience / qualifications would be preferred but not essential
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday – 8am to 4:30pm
- Fridays – 8am to 3:30pm
