We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity within their Serious Injury department. This role offers the chance to provide vital support to senior file handlers dealing with complex, high-value personal injury and medical negligence claims. If you have experience in a personal injury legal environment and are looking to take the next step in your career within a modern, forward-thinking firm, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to senior fee earners handling serious injury claims
  • Draft standard correspondence using the firm's case management system (ProClaim)
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients and colleagues, managing incoming calls and detailed message taking
  • Deal with client telephone enquiries where appropriate and escalate as required
  • Ensure case records are accurate and kept up to date in ProClaim
  • Work closely with your line manager to achieve monthly KPIs
  • Organise appointments and manage diaries for fee earners
  • Liaise with the Finance Department regarding disbursements, outstanding payments, and related tasks
  • Assist with general administrative duties including document preparation, sorting post, and managing task lists
  • Provide support across the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
  • Consistently meet performance targets in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Undertake any additional duties as required by the business

  • Previous experience within a personal injury legal environment is essential
  • Experience with multi-track or medical negligence claims is highly desirable; fast-track experience will also be considered
