We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity within their Serious Injury department. This role offers the chance to provide vital support to senior file handlers dealing with complex, high-value personal injury and medical negligence claims. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to senior fee earners handling serious injury claims
- Draft standard correspondence using the firm's case management system (ProClaim)
- Act as a first point of contact for clients and colleagues, managing incoming calls and detailed message taking
- Deal with client telephone enquiries where appropriate and escalate as required
- Ensure case records are accurate and kept up to date in ProClaim
- Work closely with your line manager to achieve monthly KPIs
- Organise appointments and manage diaries for fee earners
- Liaise with the Finance Department regarding disbursements, outstanding payments, and related tasks
- Assist with general administrative duties including document preparation, sorting post, and managing task lists
- Provide support across the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Consistently meet performance targets in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Undertake any additional duties as required by the business
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience within a personal injury legal environment is essential
- Experience with multi-track or medical negligence claims is highly desirable; fast-track experience will also be considered
- Strong communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills
