This is an excellent opportunity to join their Serious Injury department, providing vital assistance to senior file handlers dealing with complex personal injury and medical negligence cases. If you have experience within a personal injury legal setting and are keen to progress your career within a modern, forward-thinking firm, this could be the ideal role for you. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to senior file handlers in managing serious injury claims.
  • Draft routine correspondence using the firm's case management system (ProClaim).
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and fee earners, managing incoming calls and accurately relaying messages.
  • Handle telephone enquiries where appropriate, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records within ProClaim.
  • Work closely with your line manager to achieve monthly KPIs.
  • Arrange appointments for fee earners and manage diaries effectively.
  • Liaise with the Finance Department regarding disbursements, outstanding payments, and related matters.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks including document preparation, sorting post, and managing task lists.
  • Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations across the department.
  • Consistently meet performance targets in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Carry out additional duties as required by the business.

What You'll Bring

  • Prior experience in a personal injury legal environment is essential.
  • Ideally, you will have worked on multi-track or medical negligence claims, though fast-track experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
