Job Role – Mechanical maintenance Engineer

Mondays to Friday Days – 07:00 – 3:30pm and 2pm Finish every Fridays!

The Company

An opportunity has arisen to work for a global firm within the heavy industry who manufacture and supply product solutions to commercial and domestic clients. My client are big on career prospects for their staff and with multiple sites across the UK you can certainly grow in to various roles whether it be field service, team leader or even senior engineering position. As the Mechanical Maintenance engineer, you will be working on a wide variety of equipment including robotic welders, pumps, chemical pumps, water pressure testers and much more!

The Role

As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Making regular checks on machinery according to a planned schedule
  • Regular maintenance work such as oiling and cleaning
  • Replacing parts on a planned basis after a certain number of hours
  • Checking and calibrating equipment to make sure it is accurate
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records

Requirements

To be a successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, our client requires:

  • Have a level 3 qualification/apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
  • Be confident fault finding mechanically
  • Have previous experience working in a maintenance background
