Job Overview:

Value Doors are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their friendly and thriving finance team! We are a nationwide door company with a focus on making the industry digital through online door builders and slick tech.

Key Responsibilities and Duties but not limited to:-

  • Head up accounts department
  • Daily banking reconciliations including updating excel cashbooks for multiple bank accounts, accurate coding and posting in Sage Cloud Accounting
  • Ensuring customers are paid in full and reconciling in Zoho CRM
  • Chase outstanding balances
  • Work with our finance providers to reconcile payments
  • Posting and reconciling card transactions
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Managing petty cash reconciliations
  • Processing and paying supplier invoices
  • Creating BACS runs for supplier payments
  • Review and reconciliation of sales and purchase ledger accounts
  • Intercompany regarding and reconciliations, including posting journals
  • Creating monthly BACS runs for supplier payments
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff
  • Assisting the Management Accountant with any other ad-hoc tasks
  • Daily reporting to management

Essential Skills:-

  • Proficient in Sage and use in current role on a daily basis
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Previous experience within accounts or similar role
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications specifically Word and Excel
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
