Your new companyWe are looking for a full-time Year 3 Teacher to join a primary school in the Leasowe area of the Wirral. The role will start in September 2024 and will be for up to one year. The ideal candidate will be an experienced year 3 teacher, but we will also welcome applications from ECTs with previous experience of teaching year 3 classes.

Your new roleYou will be responsible for planning and delivering highly engaging, stimulating and creative lessons for your Year 3 class. You will work in accordance with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, and science, as well as supporting the social and emotional development of the children in your care. You will also be responsible for assessing the pupils' work and using the results to inform your planning. You will attend parent's evenings and be expected to support other staff in extracurricular activities and in the wider life of the school.

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this year 3 teacher role you must have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience working with Year 3 aged children
  • Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, especially literacy, numeracy, and science
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
