Position: Design Engineer
Location: Berinsfield, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Permanent / Fully Onsite
Our client, a specialist and innovative manufacturer are on the hunt for a motivated Design Engineer to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and technical support of products.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support to production and sales departments
- Assist in the building and testing of prototypes from concept to pre-production stage.
- Liaise with management in decisions relating to design and development
- Produce, maintain and manage technical assembly and manufacturing drawings.
Experience or Qualifications –
- Degree level educated in Mechanical / Design Engineering subject
- Proficient in 3D CAD (ideally Siemens NX) to create and issue technical drawings
- Understanding of fluid circuits or electrical systems is desirable
- Experience of working with mechanical systems such as drivetrains.
Candidates who currently are a Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Product Design Engineer or DFM Engineer may be suitable for this position.
