Join our client based in Oxfordshire as a Business Development Executive and enjoy working for an exciting and fast-moving industry.

As Business Development Executive you will:

  • Communicate and develop relationships with existing customers to help grow the business.
  • Identify and establish new customers from a diverse range of industry sectors across the country in the sales of Industrial Services
  • Manage and gather information on all sales enquiries
  • Undertake site visits
  • Assess incoming enquiries and liaise with clients to ensure that sufficient information is obtained to raise quotations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other Grundon sales
  • Carry out duty of care visits for new and existing customers

As Business Development Executive you will have;

  • Ideally, experience of sales in the Industrial Services Industry
  • Ability to work within a team and under your own initiative
  • Strong desire to succeed without compromising quality
  • Ability to both account manage and develop new business
  • Confident communicator on different levels, professional telephone manner and ability to listen
  • Comfortable selling to all levels from board room to shop floor
  • Attention to accuracy and detail in all forms of work
  • Demonstrated ability in the provision of a high standard of customer service
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Numerate and confident with the written word
  • Ability to be flexible within the working day to accommodate ad-hoc requirements
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and social media
  • In terms of location, the company is flexible, but you will need to have good access to head office at Wallingford
