This role involves financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and contributing to strategic financial decisions that will shape the future of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, adhering to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage the company's budget, tracking expenses, and identifying areas for cost optimisation.
  • Conduct regular financial forecasting and reporting to provide valuable insights to management for decision-making.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and other statutory financial obligations in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Collaborate with auditors and assist in the preparation of financial audits and reviews.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to various departments within the organisation.
  • Stay updated on accounting best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting standards and principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
