Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Engineering Procurement and Construction client to recruit a Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) for its Walsall site.
The Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) role comes with a salary of up to 85,000, 5% bonus, working fully remote.

Responsibilities and duties
- Establish the civil pre-construction strategy, including the procurement strategy and tender preparation time schedule.
- Establish and agree the project temporary requirements including laydown and utilities and provide inputs to the QS for inclusion into the BOQ and estimates
- Provide inputs to the civil tender time schedule in conjunction with the Tender Manager Civil and Civil Scheduler
- Prepare construction sequences and methodologies, milestone and payment schedules for the subcontract
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
Personal skills
The Pre-Construction Manager (Civil) role would suit someone who is:
- Experienced in Construction Management and / or Commercial Management background in heavy civils plant projects
- Able to communicate complex technical issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Familiar with the Tools and Procedures used (user knowledge of PIRS, SAP and MS Project)
- Strong project management skills and able to handle multiple-projects in conjunction

Salary upto 85,000 DOE
