This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to begin their career with a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers on live projects from concept through to production
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of products and systems
- Analyse data, interpret technical drawings, and produce detailed reports
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to support engineering objectives
- Maintain and improve engineering documentation and quality standards
Essential Skills
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- A proactive and positive approach to learning and development
Desirable Skills
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)
- Exposure to manufacturing or engineering environments (placements, internships etc.)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
