Position: Office Administrator

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 annually

Location: Walsall Wood (WS8)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (office-based)

We're thrilled to announce an opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator to join a thriving company in the Construction industry. This role presents an exciting prospect as the business continues to surpass its targets and experiences substantial growth.

As a valued member of the administration team, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the businesses administration function. If you're passionate about making a difference and thrive in a dynamic environment where your input and support matters, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering office landline and general email queries
  • Loading Customer Care work instructions onto portal, keeping system updated through to completion when Contracts Managers send updates
  • Ordering and arranging of IT equipment for new starters
  • Ordering and collating stationary for office and site staff
  • Booking training courses, liaising with training companies
  • Monitoring and updating training records
  • Inviting new starters to complete induction portal
  • Reviewing groundwork gang profiles through induction portal to ensure qualifications are correct to begin
  • Updating internal systems with skills
  • Reception duties such as meeting visitors at the door, answering the intercom and signing for deliveries as and when needed

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a similar administrative role
  • Background in construction would be ideal
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Proficient with Microsoft packages
