ROLE: 1-TO-1 TUTOR (QUALIFIED TEACHER)

SUBJECT: CORE SUBJECTS (ENGLISH, MATHS, SCIENCE) AT KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS LEVEL

LOCATION: WALSALL (And all surrounding areas) (FACE-TO-FACE TUITION and ONLINE)

RATE: £31 - £45 PER HOUR

Who are we?

We are a social enterprise striving to improve educational outcomes for vulnerable young people, including Children Looked After, those adopted, and those with Special Educational Needs. We believe in empowering children through tailored 1-to-1 educational support, and you can help us achieve this.We receive our referrals from local authorities and schools rather than privately. We are also a member of the Fair Education Alliance and an Approved Tuition Partner of the National Tutoring Programme.

Skills and Experience: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Available during school hours and/or after school

  • Available for face-to-face tuition as well as online 

  • Fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • Excellent in your communication, timekeeping, reliability, and reporting

  • Understanding of working with vulnerable young people with a range of needs and communication styles

Salary: £31.00-£45.00 per hour

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

  • Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Enhanced DBS certificate (Child Workforce) (preferred)
