Mig Welder

Location: Bloxwich, Walsall

Kerry Collins is recruiting for a Tig/Mig welder for our well-established, family run business based in the Bloxwich, Walsall area.

Key duties/Responsibilities

  • Read design drawings for the purpose of manufacturing.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and complete items of equipment by using metal forming and cutting tools such as presses, punches, benders, threaders, and drills to make shapes and cut parts to be welded.
  • Perform works as assigned within designated timescale, efficiently, and to the required standard to ensure standards conform to client and customer specifications.
  • Clean and maintain the tools, machinery and equipment being used, to ensure optimum use.
  • Clean and maintain working area and environment to a tidy and safe standard
  •  Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures and Health & Safety Policies.
  •  Cooperate with and assist colleagues, always ensuring positive team-working and relationships.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties not specifically stated within this job description, as requested by your manager or a director.
