Key Responsibilities of this Tax Manager role include;

  • Manage all aspects of your allocated client portfolio which will be tailored to your interests and skillset, whether that’s personal or corporate tax focused.
  • Plan and oversee a mix of assignments which can again involve a tailored mix of compliance or advisory work, whilst acting as the key point of contact for your portfolio.
  • Oversee, lead and train the wider team as appropriate.
  • Deal with various third parties such as Investors and HMRC on a regular basis.
  • Undertake a mid of ad hoc projects in some niche areas, to service clients as best as possible and seek opportunities for business development.

You

  • CTA, ACA or ACCA Qualified.
  • Strong tax experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Experience overseeing junior colleagues, whilst leading assignments.
  • Ability to take responsibility for your own tasks and client portfolio.
  • Confident in delegating work to more junior colleagues and providing coaching where necessary.
