Key Responsibilities of this Tax Manager role include;
- Manage all aspects of your allocated client portfolio which will be tailored to your interests and skillset, whether that’s personal or corporate tax focused.
- Plan and oversee a mix of assignments which can again involve a tailored mix of compliance or advisory work, whilst acting as the key point of contact for your portfolio.
- Oversee, lead and train the wider team as appropriate.
- Deal with various third parties such as Investors and HMRC on a regular basis.
- Undertake a mid of ad hoc projects in some niche areas, to service clients as best as possible and seek opportunities for business development.
You
- CTA, ACA or ACCA Qualified.
- Strong tax experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
- Experience overseeing junior colleagues, whilst leading assignments.
- Ability to take responsibility for your own tasks and client portfolio.
- Confident in delegating work to more junior colleagues and providing coaching where necessary.
