Job Overview
Florin Healthcare are excited to be working with an award-winning national care provider to find a new Commissioning Manager for one of their brand-new service due open in Autumn 2024. The service will provide Residential, Dementia and respite care for the elderly. You will be responsible for the commissioning and management of the service and roles will include:
- Filling beds and maintaining a high level of occupancy whilst ensuring all current and newly referred individuals are properly assessed and that high quality, person-centred support is provided throughout.
- Developing your own team
- Building relationships with local authority, stake holders, CCG's etc
- Building reputations
- Sourcing local suppliers
- Ensure that services are of a standard which meet and exceed standards set by regulatory bodies, including the CQC Standards, NICE guidelines, NMC standards and other contractual obligations.
Candidate Requirements
- To be successful in this position, you must currently be a Registered Manager in the care industry and have solid knowledge of CQC regulations and guidelines.
- As the potential Manager it is also vital that you have excellent communication skills to be able to communicate with various stakeholders within the business
- Managed a 50+ bed home previously.
- Must be able to create and develop new relationships within the local community.
- Any previous commissioning experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Salary
£70,000 - £75,000 per annum + Bonuses

This role is based in Oxfordshire. Easily commutable via car.
