Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Shift Mechanical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Shift Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Shift Mechanical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Shift Mechanical Engineer, will be responsible for:

  • Service, maintenance, and repairs on installations.
  • Such as ventilation systems - (AHU, Intake / extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCU's etc.).
  • Water system assets, such as booster sets, chlorifiers, water heaters etc.
  • This position would be ideal for a Steam Engineer holding a BOAS accreditation due to the nature of the site. 
  • Deliver to the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting any defects.
  • Keeping them informed of site activities at the time of the service visit.
  • You will also be required to complete all work-related documentation accurately.
  • Keeping logs of inspection reports and remedial work. 
  • Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights.
  • Willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
  • Ability to use a mobile device and good verbal and written communication skills

To be successful for this Shift Mechanical Engineer role you must have:

  • Maintenance/Facilities Management environment.
  • C&G Level 3 or Level 5 NVQ or HNC equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
