Compliance & Risk Controller

Heyland Recruitment are currently working exclusively alongside this niche logistics services organisation as they look to recruit a well-rounded Compliance & Risk Controller into the head office team in Warrington. Following a significant investment into the business they are seeking a diligent and experienced professional from either a financial or engineering / health and safety audit background ideally with previous system implementation experience.

This opportunity is based on site full time, any applicants must live in a commutable distance to Warrington.

Reporting to the FD you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Set up an audit programme to ensure that vehicle maintenance is compliant
• Ongoing audits of:

1. Servicing in line with documentation requirements
2. Oil & filter changes check
3. Oil usage and wastage checks
4. Hours of work
5. Correct working in line with SOPs
6. Engineering hours
7. Drivers hours
8. Other internal processes

• Play leading role in system implementation and be "superuser"
• Examine system & vehicle files to ensure inspection intervals & servicing are met
• Track corrective actions and non-conformities
• Sample repairs and documentation/systems to ensure closure with appropriate actions
• Work with ED to ensure practical quality checks are carried out by the engineering managers
• Safety checks utilising our risk assessments and safe systems of work
• Ongoing audit programme for company policies and procedures with reports
• Monitor range performance of the new EV fleet
• Provide a monthly board report
• Attend safety meeting

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary 45-50k
