I am working with a fantastic retail business in Warrington who are looking for a Management Accountant. This role requires a diligent individual with strong accounting skills and a keen eye for detail.

Operating from their base in Warrington, they continue to expand their retail presence, whilst maintaining a firm commitment to their employees and customers alike.
The role will involve working collaboratively within their Accounting & Finance department, whilst also taking the lead on key projects.
Description
The key duties for the Management Accountant are:
- Full end to end Management Accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries onto the accounting system
- Oversee the export of trial balances from the system and upload data
- Prepare accounting entries for other movements in loan notes and ensure reconciliations are kept up to date
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Assist the Financial Controller with divisional reporting and analysis
- Assist with implementation of appropriate internal controls and procedures and ensure compliance
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, or similar role
- Understanding of retail accounting and financial management principles
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and good analytic skills
- Intermediate on Excel
