New Guard Coatings are actively recruiting for a new team member to join our branch in Warrington as Branch Supervisor. Were a specialist of industrial coatings for metal & steel, concrete, building maintenance and wood. We provide paint solutions to suit our customers individual needs. We at New Guard Coatings treat each other with respect and are passionate in maintaining an enjoyable and rewarding workplace. We have great success in welcoming new individuals into the paint industry and therefore applicants DO NOT need knowledge of the paint industry to be considered for this role. The successful individual will be encouraged to grow within their role, the business and the industry. This is a responsible role with a wide variety of duties focusing on team management, the oversee and implementation of daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and continued growth of the branch. This role does include manual warehouse responsibilities and it is important that all applicants have manual capabilities.

Responsibilities and duties of Branch Supervisor :

  • Always lead by example

Maintain a positive team as well as positive customer relationships

Ensure customers receive a high quality service at all times

  • Ensure new team members receive any training they need in order to excel within their role
  • Hold regular team meetings, discussing operations, planning, ideas, queries and questions
  • Ensure team members feel valued, praised and thanked when appropriate
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and ensure this is done throughout the team
  • Identify opportunities for growth, both independently and as a team
  • Upsell, ensuring our customers receive the full value of our services
  • Uphold the group Health & Safety / OSSHA requirements
  • Ensure weekly / monthly / annual checks and maintenance are carried out
  • Ensure compliance with the law and legislation, as communicated by group H&S manager
  • Uphold the group handbook and standards associated with the same
  • Ensure operations are carried out in-line with the company quality manual
  • Maintain accurate records of holidays, sickness, absenteeism and liaising with H/O
  • Ensure company processes / law are followed with regards to data protection.
  • Ensure company processes / law are followed with regards to processing card payments & PCI DSS.
  • Ensure month end processes / checks are completed as per section 9 of the group quality policy.
  • Ensure the branch is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Maintain regular communication with HO, group management
  • Ensure the branch external waste collection is carried out and fully compliant
  • Assist is taking period readings when required for photocopier, water, electric and gas
  • Ensure the branch remains stocked on required stationery and consumables
  • Ensure branch vehicles are maintained externally as per scheduling

Requirements for Branch Supervisor :

  • Must have a valid UK drivers license
  • Must have manual capabilities
  • Must have leadership skills and experience
  • Excellent communicative skills is essential
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
  • Confident ability to read and write
  • Be a self-motivated individual
  • Ability to positively and effectively manage a team
  • Focused and efficient
  • Reliable and honest
  • Must be able to see colour clearly (essential for this role)

Working Hours are :

  • 35 hours per week
  • 1 hour unpaid breaks

Shift times and annual salary for Branch Supervisor :

  • Monday Thursday 8am 4pm, Friday 8am 4:30pm/5pm
  • £23,500 - £26,500 annual salary (without bonus)
