Are you an experienced Forklift Driver? We are working with a reputable company based in Warrington who are expanding and seeking an experienced VNA / Counterbalance / Reach FLT Drivers. The pay rate for this will be 12.00 per hour. This role is based fully on-site. The company are asking for flexibility with working hours - the working day will be 8 hours a day, working 5 out of 7 days, with Monday-Friday predominance.

Main tasks and duties:

  • Responsible for operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) within the Warehouse (In-house training provided)
  • Maintain a thorough and detailed knowledge of the warehousing duties, functions and requirements
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of legislation and regulation affecting warehouse
  • Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety at all times, reporting any incidents to the appropriate manager
  • Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the site at all times
  • Working to KPI's & SLA's as identified by the customer

Skills, qualifications and competencies:

  • Previous experience in similar role operating a forklift or other MHE equipment is essential
  • FLT licence is desirable but not essential as in house training will be provided
  • Willing to train and undertake relevant courses
  • Able to prioritise work based on scheduling and available resources
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
  • Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns
  • Should have good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to solve problems
  • Promote good practice
  • Report any Safety concerns
  • Follow all safe working procedures and site rules
  • Wear the correct PPE at all times
  • Abide by the clean as you go policy
