The Care Assistant / Support worker role includes:

• Helping residents with daily living.
• Serving meals and refreshments.
• Attending to laundry and servicing resident's rooms.
• For those with the skills to do so, participating in and contributing to activities.
• Ensuring the delivery of high levels of quality and operational efficiency.
• Being a part of a well trained team of carers.

The quality of the caring team is central to the reason for the home's success with staff development and training given the highest priority.

Successful applicants will be:

• Willing to learn.
• QCF/NVQ2 qualified although this is not essential.
