Are you an experienced Lead Package Manager with a proven track record of successfully working on NEC3 projects within Mechanical and EC&I services?

This long-term contract opportunity will give you exposure to working on one of the most important construction projects at the site working on a Box Encapsulation Project (BEP). You will be involved in the client’s 100-year clean up programme by taking nuclear wastes recovered from waste plants and encasing it in concrete ready for storage.

You will need previous experience Managing packages of work on EPC projects or Similar within the Nuclear sector.

The Role

·Coordinate the delivery of multi-discipline work packages including engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

·Lead the package team to ensure key project milestones are met in accordance with timescales, budget, and quality targets.

·Inform and assist Project Management in identifying resources required to deliver the work scope.

·Act as key contact for external suppliers and design house engagement on packages according to the contract.

·Manage a multidiscipline team to support the sub-contractor’s delivery and site works including Engineering, QA, Commercial, Document Control, Planning, Construction and Commissioning.

·Ensure appropriate resourcing is available from all above disciplines in accordance with scheduled activities.

·Manage sub-contractors in the delivery of allocated packages of work.

·To manage change relating to both client and sub-contractors – driven by other areas in the JV, the employer and commissioning activities.

·Manage schedules owned by the sub-contractors and BEPDT, report change, cost and reporting within the BEPDT.

·Ensure the schedule and arrangements for the site works are in place and supporting site works.

·Identify and manage risk.

You will need to hold a minimum HND qualification of equivalent, understand planning software such as Primavera P6 or advantage. Use of CEMAR is an advantage.
