• Do you have 4 + years experience implementing or managing technical projects as a Pre-Sales, Infrastructure Engineer, Consultant, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or similar?

• Are you a strong communicator who wants to be a Pre-Sales / Technical Architect, producing High-level Designs / Solution Designs?

Our client is a leading IT services and solutions provider who specialise in all aspects of IT Infrastructure including on-premise and in the cloud. They deliver excellent solutions to their customers whilst providing the highest level of service. As technology continues to quickly develop, they fulfil the vital role of understanding how these benefit their clients, exploiting new opportunities and increase efficiency.

Due to growth, they are looking for someone to be responsible for providing Technical Pre-Sales assistance to new and existing customers for a portfolio of Services and Solutions. This includes:

• Support sales team on customer meetings (in-person and remote)
• Host pre-sales surgery for general assistance to the team
• Gain and maintain appropriate certifications from key vendors
• Work with the team to produce High-Level Designs / Solution designs
• Build Server, Networking, Storage and HCI configurations
• Build and maintaining a network of contacts within the technical teams at our key vendors.

Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture / Pre-Sales Engineer

• Assist the sales team to qualify technical requirements, ensuring all necessary information is collated and align to our solutions
• Advise on appropriate technologies and providing estimates to meet technical and business requirements
• Provide a translation service of technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Stay up to date with industry trends and aligning this to our Public Sector target markets
• Contribute to High-Level Designs / Solutions Design

Experience Required: Solution Architecture / Pre-Sales Engineer

• 4+ years experience in a suitably technical role i.e. Pre-Sales, Infrastructure Engineer, Consultant, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, etc.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to a commercial audience
• Experience of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure implementations, migrations, or projects
• Experience of Hyper-V, VMware, converged infrastructure, and virtualisation implementation, migrations or projects
• Working Knowledge of Network infrastructure
• Experience of Server and Storage infrastructure (Cloud and on-prem)
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ideally experience within an MSP or IT Consultancy environment
• Full driving licence + vehicle + ability to visit client sites across the UK
