Mechanical Engineer

Experience

3 years experience working in a role where knowledge of engineering was a key attribute.

Minimum 1 years experience working within a regulated and quality assured system (preferably nuclear) in roles reliant upon professional engineering judgement and where design was a major part of the role.

Requirements

Engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery, including recent positions influencing engineers, designers and guiding technical personnel in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages as directed by a Responsible Engineer

Competent in the production of standard deliverables and design calculations

Ability to check the deliverables/calculations produced by other engineers in the team

Knowledge of laws,regulations, processes and procedures appropriate to the discipline or specialist area supported

Current experience of plant and equipment, including solutions regulations, standards and operating environment influences

Knowledge of relevant design tools,techniques and related methods eg IT systems, Hazop process
