PPT drivers Warrington WA2

Ideal Recruit are working alongside a manufacturing company in Warrington WA2 for a PPT Driver Position.

Shift Patterns:

Monday- Friday

Weekend when required.

Rotating shifts of 6-2 and 2-10

Hourly Rate: £11.44/h

We are seeking a skilled and reliable PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a powered pallet truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate powered pallet trucks to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Move goods to designated areas using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Keep accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as picking and packing orders, organizing inventory, and general housekeeping duties.

Requirements:

• Valid PPT operator certification/license.
• Proven experience operating powered pallet trucks in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
