We are currently recruiting for a Rental Administrator to join our fantastic and well-established client based in Warrington. 

This is a great opportunity for a strong administrator to establish a career within the materials handling industry working for a global client that invests in its workforce to ensure its employees' development and career path is a key focus. 

 Experience in truck rental, materials handling or similar environments is advantageous but not essential. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the short-term rental fleet which incorporates dealing with rental enquiries from customers and the sales team, locating and selecting suitable trucks, raising rental agreements, daily invoicing and credits, using the CRM system to process orders and maintain fleet status and use of other reporting methods to provide information to monitor UK rental KPI’s. 

To focus on the day-to-day administration of the Short-Term Rental Fleet. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, hold good communication skills, work to a high standard and be able to work to timescales as required.

  • Answer the phone and deal with Customer/sales enquiries.
  • Locate and select suitable trucks to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure successful interaction with other departments to ensure trucks are prepared and available for transportation in line with agreed customer expectations.
  • Ensure all activities are logged and recorded on our rental management software system.
  • Raise contracts and invoices daily.
  • Identify new revenue streams and liaise with the Sales team.
  • Deal with invoice and customer queries concerning current and terminated agreements.
  • Ensuring customer returns are dealt with promptly and any damage is invoiced.
  • Carry out regular stock takes as required and ensure all equipment is labelled and booked accordingly.
  • Monitor and control rental fleet maintenance.
  • Carry out other duties which may or may not be related to the job, as reasonably requested by management.

 

Monday to Friday 36.5 hours  Between 8.00 am & 5.30 pm - 1 hour (flexible on start time between 8 am & 9 am)

This is an office-based role with no availability for hybrid or home-working
