Supreme Recruitment are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join one of our clients based in Warwick. My client is a design company that prides itself on delivering exceptional solutions across various industries. Their technical team is the driving force behind their success, and they are currently looking for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to their legacy of innovation.

As a health and safety manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify and eliminate hazards and ensure compliance
  • Providing health and safety training and advice to staff and managers
  • Investigating and reporting on any accidents, incidents, or near misses
  • Liaising with external agencies and authorities on health and safety matters
  • Managing and maintaining health and safety records and documentation
  • Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and procedures as needed

Requirements:

  • A NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety
  • At least 3 years of experience as a health and safety manager or officer, preferably in a design / prototype or manufacturing setting
  • A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and standards, especially related to machinery and display screen equipment
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach to health and safety issues
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Hours:

8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 13.30pm Friday.
