Durability and Robustness Programme Leader - 39611 / 39612 - £31.25/hr umbrella rate

Do you have vehicle engineering experience, and are you seeking a new contract in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Durability and Robustness Programme Leader, and the role comes with an Umbrella contract rate of £31.25 per hour (Inside IR35).

As a Durability and Robustness Programme Leader, you will enhance the customer experience through the design, development, measurement and balance of customer attributes for all vehicles. You will ensure all customer expectations for vehicle durability and robustness of the vehicles are met or exceeded.

In your first few weeks in this Programme Leader role, you can expect to:

  • Support delivery of all attribute requirement targets by Gateway
  • Support the Programme Attribute team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved
  • Provide detailed strategy and delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, road load data, vehicle and system rig tests and driven vehicle DV activities
  • Work with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level targets.

  • Project Management experience
  • Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies
  • Understanding of durability strength principles
  • Experience in problem solving, including application of root cause analysis, 8D, DoE, etc.
