We are recruiting for a Quality and Warranty Administrator for a multinational automotive technology company that is leading the field in carbon-free combustion. 

As part of the dynamic quality team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the warranty and quality systems. You will ensure that all customer warranty and quality cases are processed on time and accurately.

What they are offering:

  • A basic salary of £30,000 - £35,000.
  • Bonus of 8%
  • Additional 6% employer contributions (capped at 9%)
  • 25 days holidays
  • Hybrid working. 2 days office based, 3 days remote.

The role:

  • Receive and review warranty and quality cases.
  • Verify the validity of warranty and quality cases.
  • Ensure timely processing of warranty and quality cases.
  • Issue credit notes directly to customers where applicable.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, maintaining good relationships.
  • Be able to demonstrate sound judgement and analytical decision-making.
  • Generate reports using predefined methods for management review when requested.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience within an automotive warranty controller or quality control role.
  • Basic automotive product knowledge is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience of using DMS, Tec Doc and SAP systems preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build positive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Works on own initiative but also contributes positively when working as a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
