Quality Engineer / Warwick / Up to £40,000 DoE We're seeking a proactive individual to join our clients Quality team in a hands-on role, driving tangible improvements to their quality performance. As a Quality Engineer, you'll support various value streams within the business, including low volume assembly (including Motorsport) and internal manufacturing.Location / Hours:You'll be based close to Warwick 5 days per week; Monday - Friday 40hrs a week. You'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.Quality Engineer Accountabilities

  • Drive improvements in quality performance, internally and with customers.
  • Support internal assembly and manufacturing operations, focusing on improvement activities.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by improving Total Cost of Quality (TCoQ) and On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Work closely with customers, quality assurance team members, manufacturing team leaders, product leaders, and manufacturing engineers.

Quality Engineer Skills

  • Experience in low volume mechanical assembly and/or precision machining batch environment.
  • Understanding of ISO9001 / AS9100D / ISO14001 / ISO45001 (Not all but at least one)
  • Proficient in DMAIC, 8D, 5Y, 7 wastes, or other improvement tools.
  • Fully conversant with engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Degree, HNC, or equivalent with engineering content.
  • Strong people and motivational skills to drive improvements.
  • Expert problem solver with extensive experience in implementing effective long-term improvement.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
