Department Production Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving Manufacturing business, based in Washington, who are looking to recruit for a newly established position as a Department Production Manager.

The aim of the role is to develop and maintain procedures, which will contribute to an estimate vs actual performance of 100% across the department. Quality control will be high on the agendawith the personresponsible for delivering a minimal rework value . Development of Operators and Teams will be a crucial part of the role . Ensuring all direct reports have development plans and regular appraisals to review performance and issue targets will be an essential element to align all employees with the businesses core goals and targets. Machine utilisation will be critical ensuring an even spread across all kit and equipmentto eliminate bottle necks and creating capacity.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous 18-24months Supervisory/Managementexperience is essential, ideally within lighter manafacturing environments
• Experience in a fast moving and changeable environement would be preferred
• Prior knowledge of planning workloads for both machines and people and adapting to changing circumssatances on a regular basis
• A flexible and committed attitude with ambition to succeed
