Ideally someone who has a couple years of experience within Building Physics Engineering in a professional environment, the perfect individual will have a couple of years experience as a Built Environment Sustainability Engineer / Consultant, primarily revolved around Building Physics performing IES thermal models and calculations.About the company & position?This young and growing team are an outgoing and passionate group of individuals, they work almost exclusively within the MOD sector, so you will be required to go through security clearance once you learn more about these projects. They are working in other sectors such as education, retail and healthcare, areas which they’re hoping to develop over the next few years.Due to a mass update of MOD buildings, this consultancy are the chosen consultancy, so you will get the opportunity to work with a huge range of Renewables Emerging Technologies, such as Hydrogen Systems, upgrading Electrical PV systems and much more! If you want to be at the forefront of these technologies, this is the role for you.   This practice is family run and has 24 people working for them. As an inclusive company with low staff turnover, you will be working in the projects team (made up of 14 engineers and building surveyors) who provide businesses with net zero carbon targets.   This company offer flexibility and hybrid working, with this individual being expected to be in the office more often that not to start off with. The company offers a full range of professional property services across Southern England including surveying, mechanical and electrical engineering, and architecture.   90% of their projects are MOD work (for example miliary hangars, underground bunkers and accommodation blocks) which requires security clearance.
