Accounts Assistant - Waterlooville - 28,000-35,000
Accounts Assistant required to join a well-established engineering company in Waterlooville, reporting to the Head of Finance.
As the successful Accounts Assistant you will join a team of 3, and will be responsible for the accounts receivable ledger, as well as assisting with finance activities, including accounts payable, management accounts and financial analysis.
The Package:
Salary - 28,000 - 35,000
Office based
Working Hours - 8:00-16:30 (Monday - Friday)
22 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
Pension 3%
Bonus Scheme based on company performance
The Role:
- Actively ensuring customer debt is paid on time by obtaining payment confirmations.
- Chasing any overdue debt.
- Raising customer invoices and applications for projects team.
- Tracking and raising invoices, ensuring timelines are met on any contractor jobs which require applications for works complete.
- Integrating with the projects team to ensure Gross Profit stays on track and any risks are identified quickly
- Management Accounting, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and budget management
- Managing the Accounts mailbox (alongside Finance Manager)
Requirements:
- Must have experience owning and managing an accounts receivable ledger.
- Must have experience of reporting and analysis.
- Must have credit control experience.
