Assembly/ Soldering Operatives Urgently required for a leading manufacturing company based in Portsmouth. We are looking for experienced assembly operatives to work within a busy, skilled production team. This is a great opportunity to work for a company at the forefront of the industry manufacturing cutting edge interesting products for the military aswell as domestic projects.
The role will consist of working on various cable assemblies ranging from simple wire and crimps to more complex builds. You will need to be able to read a drawing and work well under pressure.
We are also looking for skilled operatives with experience of Semi-Rigid Assembly of cables. this will require you to bend cables as per the customers drawing to fit into various applications ranging from Radar systems, satellites, test equipment, military and Space applications.
Soldering Operatives may carry out tasks such as;
- Electro mechanical Assembly
- Cable Assembly
- Semi Rigid
- Soldering
- Crimping
- splicing
- Following detailed assembly specifications, written instructions and engineering diagrams
