Permanent: ANPR/CCTV Engineer - Field Based Role
Salary: C £32,500
Location: Watford and surrounding areas
Job Purpose:
Our client is responsible for a large number of private car parks throughout the UK and is recruiting for ANPR / CCTV Engineers to add to their growing team. The successful person will assist in all installations & repairs, working to a high standard. You will be required to travel to the main offices, sites and will include occasional overnight stays. A flexible approach to working will be required due to the expected travel.
Location
You will be responsible for ANPR/CCTV and Signage installations across the Wiltshire, Hertfordshire, Greater London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and national coverage as required by the operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the install of ANPR and CCTV cameras, Pay and Display machines, tablets, signage and any other requests as part of the site installation
- To install appropriate signage as requested
- To resolve issues with cameras at sites providing reactive support
- To ensure our clients always receive a personable and quality service
- To follow safe working procedures and operating procedures
- To follow all compliance procedures
- To enter correct and detailed reports on our scheduling system
- Expectation to conduct site surveys
Experience
- Electrical site experience in CCTV, Fire Alarm, Security Alarm, ANPR and / or Paid Parking machine installations
- ANPR install experience and camera set-up
- Client facing skills
Skills & Knowledge
- Full UK Driving License
- Ability to work as a lone worker and follow survey install documents
- Demonstrate a high level of work quality
- Ability to cope well under pressure, can multitask and can adapt to changing circumstances
