If you thrive on challenges, love driving positive change, and are committed to providing excellent customer experiences, then this role is perfect for you!Why You'll Love This Role:* Take ownership of your portfolio and implement efficient strategies to achieve success.* Be part of a working environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.* Work with a diverse range of SME customers, handling invoice queries and driving timely resolutions.* Utilise your excellent communication skills through outbound calls, emails, and customer meetings.* Thrive in a results-driven culture as you work towards set call and DSO targets.* Build and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.* Showcase your insights and achievements in weekly debt meetings with management.* Use your analytical skills to reconcile complex customer accounts and find winning solutions.* Collaborate with a supportive credit team and credit manager to ensure collective success.Your Responsibilities:* Manage invoice queries for your portfolio, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for speedy resolutions.* Proactively contact SME customers through various channels to chase aged debt and meet set call and DSO targets.* Utilise Excel daily for generating statements and reports, ensuring accurate data analysis.* Collaborate with line managers to reconcile complex customer accounts and find efficient solutions.* Suggest changes and improvements to existing procedures, driving positive changes within the team.* Maintain excellent communication and negotiation skills to provide a top-notch customer experience.Your Skills & Experience:* Over 2 years of experience in credit control, demonstrating proficiency in handling credit-related responsibilities.* A track record of working towards and achieving set targets, showcasing your dedication and results-oriented approach.* Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.* Experience in handling debt collection conversations with customers, displaying tact and diplomacy.* A self-motivated and proactive attitude, along with excellent prioritisation skills to efficiently manage your workload.* Confidence in proposing changes and improvements, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.* Strong numeracy and literacy skills, allowing you to analyse financial data and communicate effectively.* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP's, for accurate data analysis.Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
