Our client is looking for a Multi Trade Engineer to deliver high quality contracts to a range of commercial clients. They have worked for clients such as Lidl, Argos, Bentley, Coca Cola, Ferrari & Gordon Ramsey, they have continued to use their services based on their consistency, price and approach to quality. They are looking for an experienced engineer to join their team in Watford to cover works across London and the Home Counties.

Maintenance Engineer (Watford) Position Overview

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks across Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems as outlined in commercial maintenance contracts, including inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, diagnosing M&E issues, and undertaking urgent repairs to minimise downtime and ensure safety.
  • Utilise multi-trade skills to diagnose complex M&E issues, employing analytical thinking and problem-solving techniques.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, fixtures, and systems within M&E infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards in all M&E maintenance and repair activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, building managers, and stakeholders, providing updates on M&E maintenance activities and addressing inquiries.

Maintenance Engineer (Watford) Position Requirements

  • Qualified to 18th Edition and possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, C&G 2391 or equivalent
  • 4 years min electrical experience including adhering to national electrical safety standards
  • Multi-skilled with experience and/or qualification in heating and ventilation C&G 6188 or equivalent
  • JIB Gold card or equivalent
  • Valid ECS Card, IPAF and PASMA are preferred but not essential
  • Driving licence
  • Able work within Health and Safety regulations
