Our client is on an exciting journey of change and growth and as a result are now actively seeking to appoint a talented People Business Partner to join the business. This is a generalist HR opportunity that will play a key role in supporting a division of the group, circa 600/700 employees base. You will build a pipeline of future talent from within, support the business as it transforms in terms of advancements in technology and cultural impact and grow engagement within the teams, for the future success of the business.

The Role:

  • As a People Business Partner, you’ll work closely with senior leadership teams, providing strategic support and expert advice across all people-related matters.
  • You’ll help drive business performance through strong collaboration, developing and delivering people plans, leading on organisational design activities, and building leadership capability.
  • You’ll be a true partner to the business, influencing key decisions and ensuring a strong, values-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop people strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Advise and coach leadership on performance management, organisational design, reward, talent management, and employee relations. Lead succession planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Analyse business insights and workforce data to drive people strategy and manage risks.
  • Champion organisational change projects, embedding new ways of working and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with centres of expertise (Recruitment, Reward, L&D) to deliver a comprehensive HR service.
  • Support and engage with the Employee Forum on key initiatives.

About You:

  • You are an experienced HR/People Business Partner, confident in partnering at Executive and Senior Leadership levels.
  • You bring strong commercial acumen, excellent judgement, and up-to-date knowledge across all generalist HR areas, including UK employment law.
  • You're passionate about building a high-performance culture and can navigate complex ER issues with pragmatism and professionalism.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a People Business Partner in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in organisational change, talent management, employee relations, and succession planning.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to balance business needs with employee wellbeing.
  • Data-driven mindset, able to draw insights from workforce analytics.
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach. CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
