The role in a nutshell
Live and breathe all things social media? We are an established Graphic Production Company based in Watford. We’re on the search for an energetic Social and Content Creator to join our marketing team. You will look after all our social accounts by creating content. You will have a passion for filming + editing video content (with a focus on TikTok and Instagram) and be happy to jump in front of the camera if needed. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop creative ideas and concepts to help grow our social accounts’ following and engagement, while building brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create content for the social channels - planning, scheduling and posting all content
- Filming and editing social media-based TikTok & Instagram Reel content (on phone) for our social channels
- Using Splice, After Effects, CapCut or similar programmes to edit video content
- Being the eyes and ears of the latest trends on social media - jumping on sounds + trends quickly
- Manage all tagged UGC content, obtaining rights and planning into the posting schedule
- Reporting on social performance, taking learnings into future content direction
- Scheduling, and organising on-location shoots in the UK for content for posting on social media where additional content is required
- Assist with internal events and planning events within the marketing calendar
- Assist with gathering content of internal newsletter, collecting content.
Candidate Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in shooting and editing short form product content + managing social media accounts - preferred not mandatory
- A passion for creating TikTok and Instagram social media content
- Comfortable working at pace and being reactive to trends
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar editing software
- Highly self-motivated and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Positive attitude - ability to get stuck in and hit the ground running
- Confident in front of camera - doesn’t take themselves too seriously!
- Be proactive and creative in coming up with ideas and suggestions
- Understanding and experience in posting/scheduling to social media
- Experience in social media performance reporting through platforms themselves, Google Analytics or other social tools- preferred not mandatory
- Ability to travel for on-location shoots (in the UK) where necessary
