Our partnership schools in Watford are looking for a Primary Teacher to join their team and support them with cover for PPA and Subject Leader release time. If you are confident in teaching across KS1 and KS2, this could be the perfect new role in education for you! . Your KS2 teacher responsibilities:

  • Mark and assess work taught from your days of teaching
  • Effectively the classroom teaching assistant
  • Record lesson development and briefly outline pupil progress
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Follow planning to continue a coherent learning journey
  • Deliver lessons with enthusiasm!

Requirements of the KS2 teacher role:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
  • Grade C or above (or relevant equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
  • 2 references from the last 5 years
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school
  • Job history that covers the last 10 years
  • An in-date Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Experience teaching in KS2 (desirable)
