Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher

This Watford Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic team. This Primary School is located in the heart of Watford, which provides a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for their diverse student population.

As a Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher at this school you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the students. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and fostering a love for learning in our young learners.

Your Key Responsibilities will be;

• Develop and deliver creative and stimulating lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of your Key Stage One students.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged and supported.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback, utilising a range of assessment techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate cross-curricular activities.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers to support students learning and well-being.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) *this is essential, please do not apply if you do not hold this qualification
• Experience teaching Key Stage One in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum and ability to effectively differentiate instruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
