Are you looking for a role supporting students with SEND needs? Zest Education is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants, Classroom Support Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for SEND Education Support on behalf of schools in Willenhall. These roles are available on a full-time and part-time basis for immediate start, supporting students between the ages of 4 years old up to 19 years old. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for our SEND Education Support Staff roles are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.

SEND Support Staff responsibilities of these roles include:

  • Providing 1:1 support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them with academic tasks, social interactions, and personal care needs
  • Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons, activities and individualised education plans
  • Keeping records of students’ progress and development, noting any achievements
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, adhering to health and safety regulations
