Then this could be the role for you!Our client in the Wednesbury area is looking for an experienced Packaging Administrator to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth.This role would suit people from the Food (FMCG) sector with a previous job title of an Operations Administrator, Manufacturing Administrator, Production Administrator, Quality Control Administrator, or similar roles.Benefits:

  • Salary - £25,000 to £27,000 per annum.
  • Location: Wednesbury
  • Hours of work - Monday to Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm (37.5hrs per week)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage packaging design projects while communicating with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Approve and file packaging artwork files while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure Barcodes, Ingredients, artwork colours and all other details are suitable.
  • Partake in weekly project management meetings to update stakeholders on the progress of projects.
  • Liaise with printers and packaging manufacturers to further understand the printing process.
  • Sign off on samples that adhere to the required design drawings, artwork and print quality.
  • Distribute any required artwork internally with Marketing and Management as required.
  • Despatch sample packaging when required.
  • Issue barcodes for new artwork and ensure they are inline with the required quality.
  • Any other admin related tasks as required by management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • (Essential) Minimum 2 years' experience within the FMCG sector.
  • (Essential) Previous packaging experience, e.g. Dealing with Design Houses, Artworks & Barcodes.
  • Experience with MS Excel, SAP & MS Access.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
