  • Job description: This job requires working Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday from 8.30am to 4pm, totaling 37 hours per week with overtime paid at time and a half. The job requires a 3-month commitment and preferably experience with FLT (forklift truck) operation. The main responsibilities include performing perpetual inventory checking, putting stock away in designated locations, assisting with dispatch handling and packing, kitting works orders, flagging shortages, checking shop floor returns, unloading vehicles, and completing necessary documentation. The job also requires maintaining high standards of housekeeping and following health and safety regulations. Additionally, the employee may be asked to help with exceptional stock checks and other reasonable requests made by the supervisor or the company to manage workload fluctuations.

Monday to Thursday 8.30-4.30 and Friday 8.30-4.  37 hrs a week with overtime paid at time and a half.

3 month requirement and ideally you will have FLT experience.

To carry out when required to do so, perpetual inventory checking to the daily check list and advise of any changes to the supervisor.

• Put all stock away in their pre-determined location within the stores department.

• To assist as necessary with despatch handling and packing.

• To kit works orders as necessary

• To flag any shortages to the kit list.

• To check shop floor returns are good to go back into stock.

• To unload vehicles as necessary and check goods in if required.

• Complete all necessary documentation according to the company’s requirements, (including timesheets, NCR’s, goods inward and goods out records)

• To ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard at all times.

• Carry out all tasks in line with Health & Safety regulations,

• Carry out any other reasonable request made by the department supervisor or the company to smooth peaks and troughs within the department, including any exceptional stock check need.
