Proactive are currently recruiting for CNC Operator/ Turner to work for a manufacturing company based in Wellingborough
Your daily duties will include:
- Under limited supervision, machine standard and special components for bespoke MMD machines to schedule.
- Machine parts using manual and CNC machines.
- Keeping records of time and material used on jobs.
- Support engineering and production with any changes to machine build.
- Support engineering with parts for research and development.
Required skills
- CNC and manual machining knowledge and 3-5 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of working with Prototract, SLX, Siemens, Shopmill (would be an advantage but training will be provided)
- Read mechanical drawings.
- Mechanical skills.
- General problem-solving skills and practical aptitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and display a willingness to learn and put skills into practice.
- Excellent communication.
- Able to lift weight ranging from 10 to 20 kilos
Pay £12.98-£14.54 per hour
Hours :8am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday
8:30am-1pm Friday.
